Who I work with

CS students — Europe & US

University coursework

Most of the people I work with are studying computer science at demanding universities abroad. Object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms — the courses that decide whether you continue in the degree.

  • Java & object-oriented programming
  • Algorithms & data structures
  • Python
  • Assignments, projects & exam preparation

Working developers

Getting unstuck

You can ship features but you have hit a ceiling — your code works and you cannot say why it is good or bad. We work on your actual codebase, not toy problems.

  • Design patterns, used properly
  • Code review on your real work
  • Spring & enterprise Java
  • SQL, data modelling & performance

Engineering teams

Teams & companies

Training and mentoring for a team rather than one person, from onboarding juniors onto a Java codebase to helping seniors make architectural decisions they can defend.

  • Java & Spring training
  • Architecture & design review
  • Mentoring seniors and new leads
  • Legacy modernisation

How I teach

01

You write the code

I do not lecture and I do not screen-share while you watch. You type, you get stuck, and I ask the question that gets you unstuck. Uncomfortable, and it is the only thing that works.

02

Your real work, not toy problems

Your assignment, your codebase, the algorithm you have to implement by Friday. I will not set you unrelated exercises while the thing you are actually graded on sits unfinished.

03

Understanding, not answers

I will not hand you a finished assignment — that helps you once and hurts you at the exam. You will hear what is wrong and why, and then you write it. Twenty years of doing this badly and then better is what you are actually paying for.

04

Your pace, your goals

No fixed curriculum. We start with where you are and what you want, and I adjust as you go.

Practical

Format
Online, one-to-one. Screen-sharing both ways, on your machine and your project.
Language
Turkish or English.
Time zones
I am in Türkiye and work regularly with students in Europe and the US, so evenings and weekends are normal rather than a favour.
Sessions
Usually weekly, 60–90 minutes. We agree a rhythm that fits your schedule rather than a fixed package.
First conversation
Free, about 30 minutes. You tell me what you want to get to, I tell you honestly whether I am the right person for it.
Rates
Depend on scope and frequency — ask me and I will give you a straight number.

Want to start?

Send me a short message: what you are studying or working on, and where you are stuck. No form-filling ritual — a few sentences is plenty.
